What is Magna? 


Magna Rewards is a loyalty program that offers its valued members an opportunity to save money by earning points on their purchases at Magna partner merchants. These points can be redeemed for goods and services at these or other participating Magna Rewards merchants nationwide. 


How does the Magna Rewards Program Work? 

 

Whenever a customer makes a purchase at one of our participating Magna merchants for TT$20.00 and over or JA$200.00, the customer is eligible to swipe their Magna card to earn points.  


The points earned are at the discretion of the Merchant. In most cases, it is 1% of the purchase value however this may be higher or lower dependent on the Merchant. 


Customers can accumulate their points to be redeemed for the purchase goods and services at a participating Magna merchant by simply swiping their Magna Rewards card when checking out at the cashier OR presenting a valid Magna Rewards voucher to the cashier for redemption. 


Magna Rewards Cards 

 

Each Magna Rewards card have the following characteristics: 


  • The front of the card has the Magna Rewards card number which consist of (16 digits) 

  • To the back of the card, the customer is required to sign in the signature space provided 

  • The card has no expiration date  

  • Trinidad card numbers begin with 25252507… 

  • Jamaica card numbers begin with 25252509… 

 

Magna Rewards Gold Card 

 

Trinidad & Tobago 

  • The customer must spend TT$24,000 within 1 calendar year to become a Goldlife customer, the card will be issued the following year either in April or May. 


  • First Magna Gold replacement card (free); however, thereafter, replacement cards would be at a cost of 200 Magna points OR TT$20 

 

Jamaica  

  • The customer must spend JM$450,000 within 1 calendar year to become a Goldlife customer, the card will be issued the following year either in April or May 


  • Magna Gold card replacements cost 400 Magna points OR JM$800 



Additional Benefits of the Magna Rewards Gold card 

 

The Magna Gold card can be utilized at any participating Magna Gold card Merchant in both Trinidad and Jamaica to receive discounts, which is at the merchant's discretion. 


Customers can use their card to earn/redeem points at regular Magna merchants within their respective country. 


The card is personalized with the customer's name printed on the front of the card. 

 

Note: The Magna Goldlife program is currently under review by management. At this time, we are not issuing new gold cards to customers, however, existing gold card customers can receive a replacement card upon request. 

 

Magna Rewards Standard Card 

 

New Magna Rewards Customer 

Standard Magna Rewards card are issued to all new Magna Rewards customers.  

 

Magna Standard Card Replacement 

Trinidad - Standard Magna card, the first replacement is free, thereafter, replacement cards attract a fee of 100 Magna which is equivalent to TT$10. 

 

Jamaica - All Standard replacements cards are free. 

 

Note: All replacement cards are processed with a new card number, the old card number is voided on BRiK so no new activity (accumulation or redemption) can be recorded using that card.
