Magna Card Emboss Process Flow
The Card Emboss file consists of customers compiled from the website/mobile app who would have applied for a new/replacement Magna card.
Once the agent is given this task, they are required to do the following-
Step 1- Review the customer’s information provided from the application.
Step 2- Enter the customer’s name in BRiK to search for any previous existing accounts. If the customer already has an active account on Brik, the agent is then required to contact the customer to verify if they requested a replacement card or if they created an account in error.
Account Created in Error-
a. If the customer confirms the account was created in error, the agent must make the account inactive.
b. Place a note in the “comments” field on the spreadsheet provided by the supervisor stating, "CREATED IN ERROR".
Replacement Card Requested-
a. If the customer confirms their request was intended for a replacement card, the agent is required to create a replacement account for the customer, transferring any existing points, email address and alternate keys to the replacement account.
b. The old account and the account the customer created online should be placed in an "inactive" status.
Please refer to process; How to Create a Replacement Standard TT Card in BRiK for detailed steps.
New Card Requested-
a. If you check the system for duplicate accounts and there are no duplicates, you must create a new account for the customer.
b. Transfer the email address from the account the customer created online, then make that account "inactive".
Please refer to process; How to Create a New Customer Standard TT Card in BRiK for detailed steps.
Step 3- Once the Card Emboss file is completed, all new/replacement cards that were created should be added to the “TT Standard Card Request for Processing” log, shared on the One Drive that is accessible to all agents. The agent must state if the card is to be mailed or collected at the office.
Step 4- The card will be prepared for mailing or collection at the office. Refer to the "Card Mail Prep" process.
